    this is “The Queen Of Inwood.” She wouldn’t move the whole time I was taking the photos for the reference. Done with a colored pencil base, some wax art bars and touches of oil pastels.

    these are the “Burning Hills of Utah” done with the same mediums of aqua stick oil pastels and laid down with oil pastels as the wave drawing before it. You can actually see these rhythmic patterns in the hills which give it a very unique look.

    A co-worker gave me a photo from Hawaii that she asked me to draw. I used a base of aqua stick oil pastels and did each movement in a line very carefully and then laid that with an oil pastel to blend in. The area of the clouds of water was a delicate blend of the aqua stick pencils and softly covered with the oil pastels
